About myself... I am an Artist, I am a Photographer,
What to tell you about myself, where to start... Since you are here and have read this far you must be curious. Let me spark a little light into the matter. My name is Michael A. Le Pard (A for Allan). I was born in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada in May 15, 1971 at the Scarborough General Hospital. I don't know who my birth parents are since I was adopted but hopefully I will find them soon with luck. My past is a jumbled one. I was an assistant assistant superintendent, a professional golf caddy, an assistant baker, a Canadian Armed Forces Private, a professional graphic artist for 12 years, a computer tech, an IT Manager. I have owned my own retail store called Storm Multimedia in Markham, Ontario. I have designed 4/c ads in popular magazines, helped design ad campaigns and packaging such as Benelyn, Sudafed, Trident, Halls, Coats Patons Yarn books, ball bands and so many more things. I have won awards for my designs, my favourite was: The City of Toronto Choice Award in 1993. I have always specialized in the Arts since grade 4 through to a specialized Art high school taking more than 1/2 of my credits in art. Then on to college (George Brown in Toronto) to finish 1st in my class with a GPA of 4.25 or just shy of a A+. I have always been interested in Photography even before college, I just never knew where to start. Photography to me is just another useful tool of artistic expression. No different than that of painting, sketching or the other arts. It is an way to show others what and how you see, to express creative ideas and emotions so others can share in them. There are many many forms of photography, none better or more correct than the other. I have done thousands of paintings, drawings, sketches, and I pour that artistic well of knowledge into photography as well. A good photograph/picture/painting to me expresses something, a feeling or emotion to grab the viewer to submerse them into what you want them to see and feel. To bring out a tear, or a laugh, to give a sense of awe or just to have them remember the past. Not every picture can do this, but to succeed you must always try to do your very best. Always aim to try and impress yourself, you are always your biggest critic. I love taking pictures I want to help others. I want to contribute and pass all that along.
Won't you let me take your picture?
